Hatch pattern sets can be exported, much like Line Styles or Tool Sets, and shared on a network drive or imported by another Revu user. If you forget, or if you need to add a note later in a hatched area, apply background masking to the text.Hatch pattern sets hold related hatch patterns in order to make them easier to find when choosing a hatch pattern for a markup. It treats them like sterile eggs and automatically omits hatch zones around them. The Hatch command is smart enough to recognize text and dimensions that fall within the hatched area. If your plots comprise a patchwork of hatch patterns, it’s time to simplify.Īlways apply hatches last, if you can. Their purpose is to clarify, not to overwhelm, the other geometry in the drawing. The area is listed in the Geometry section, near the bottom of the palette.ĭon’t go overboard with hatches.
